Found objects

Just wanted to say "hi all" and have a happy Bank Holiday (apologies if it ISN'T a bank holiday where you are, I have no control over these things).

I can't claim responsibility for collecting these - I just ran across them, but they're very entertaining all the same. I don't know why, but I found the X-Files ones particularly amusing.

Zing! You do like your early starts Mr. A. I wish I could say the same.

That said, however, enjoy yours in however you're spending it.

Sadly I don't work at a bank, so all it means is that I'm the only mug at work on time this morning >:(

Dan - exciting news from Black Library about the downloadable anthology mag Hammer and Bolter. So is your short a WH40k or WHF story?

Hey Dan, what do you think of the trailer for Ultramarines? A lot of people seem to be disappointed.

Scrub that post...the story is called 'The Strange Demise of Titus Endor' which can only mean it is an Eisenhorn related story - yiiipppeeeeee!

I just wanted to say to Nik,that I really enjoyed her story, she should write more 40k stuff,I did'nt know Sabbat was for sale until I was on the line already :(

They should delve more into the everyday life of 40k(which is why Eisenhorn/Ravenor is probally still the best IMO)
I think that was my favorite part of Nemesis, seeing how the Heresy affects the normal citizens, even where there is not a shot fired.

Hi Dan. i have to admit to not knowing entirely who you were until a month ago (sorry!). My cousin, however, is an absolutely huge fan of yours, and our conversations about books always inevitably lead to Gaunt's Ghosts (his favourite). So he intorduced me to The Founding, and i'm almost as hooked on your novels as he is (well, probably a long way off actually!). I know it's a lot to ask, and you're a busy man, but John just released his first novel yesterday (or something, he wasn't entirely clear with the explanation); i know hed hav a heart attack from the sheer excitement out of hearing from you, and possibly even having a look at the book! Sorry for bothering you!

Thanks BigWill - and it was a pleasure to see you at Baltimore. I loved writing "Cell", and Nick Kyme at BL and I are currently hammering out a plot for a novel based on Reredos, so watch this space.
