It's Quiet. Too Quiet.

Extract coming soon. Promise. What with a family wedding (congratulations, Ryan and Jacqui!), a two day brainstormer visit to the Black Library donjon (the High Lords of Terra gathered for the latest Heresy spitball/symposium) and actually getting some writing done, I haven't been manning the blog as often as I'd like in the last few days.

For your amusement until I catch up, try this, which was recommended by Ben Metcalfe over on my Facebook page. Dip into the long and rich list of past monologues once you're there. Magnificent. My faves so far are Julian Lennon, Bob Hope auditioning for Jaws, and Beowulf.

The comic sans one is a personal fave at the moment. I know there's a lot of f_ing and blinding but it's done with typically American abandon that I find it hilarious.

Don't worry about the extract, you post it when you post it. You're doing us a favour, we don't get to complain about the timetable :)

Can I assume you'll be writing a blog post about the Horus Heresy meeting? Please?

I liked the Beowulf one too, and the wedding photographer, but I think my favourite are Comic Sans and the spacey slacker lawyer making his opening statement.

But the blog post about the Heresy meeting will just be filler words and censored bits on pain of death.

Xhalax, I find your lack of faith disturbing :)

He can't say everything but he can, undoubtedly, say something. I want to know about the something!

Personaly, I'd rather not know what went on in the "High Lord's Chamber" (cue star wars Imperial theam music), as I belive Heresy is that important not give to much away before time. Looking forward to your extract
David :)

Yes, he would say things....filler words mainly like 'and' and 'then' and 'suddenly' and all the other such words that would fuel our imaginations only to them dash them with [content removed on pain of death] signs on words that would actually confirm or deny such thoughts that might occur because of the fillers.

Dan - a question about the Ultramarines movie if I may...

When did you first write the script?

How many drafts did it go through?

When did production actually begin?

Okay that's three questions ;-)

Thanks

Can't wait for the prospero extract, hope it is soon. All I want to know about the meeting is if anyone is going to write one on how the Iron Warriors turn to chaos.
