(BL) Live and kicking!

The long-anticipated Black Library Live day coming up this Saturday, so see you there if you’re going. Warning: the event may cause a slight hiatus in blog posts (by which I mean a slight hiatus by my new regular-as-fibre standards) depending upon hotel internet access. I’ll be thinking of things to blog at the very least.

Before I dash away now, here’s another rather lovely comics review (follow the link and scroll down to click Nova/Guardians of the Galaxy on The Pull List). It’s nice when somebody gets it.

See you Saturday in Nottingham, BL Livers!

Zing
I wish I could be there.
I would love to get a hold of your ear for a minute or two.
I am reading the Rynn's World battle book.
I think it's a grear idea for you guys to write some fluff for the greater battles of 40k.
Have they asked you to write about a famous battle?
I would love to see how you would handle the Macharian Crusade.

I wondered where you went to, Big. Last time I saw you you were headed for the pub and I feared you were laid out beneath a cask of Bugman's Finest. Snoring like a baby.

He probably took the cask home with him.

Tales of my drunken exploits are legendry ,however on this occasion the Wolf had to go back to the den, as one of his cubs needed her Dad.a shame really as the day was just getting good talking to Neil about the artwork for Prospero Burns and a Thousand Sons.It amused me to find out he based him on his dad, i thought Leman to be one of the younger Primarchs by age , but it seriously adds character to him.So thanks again Neil for bringing him to life in such in Excellent fashion. Im sure Dan will do as much if not more in his writings. I was looking forward to Chatting not only to Dan but to The Mighty Graham Mcneil, im sure now hes a Dad he will understand. But the questions i had lined up were enough to scare off an Ice Troll.
Sorry i never got to say goodbye guys , but hey there is always next time!
dan i saw you sitting in a side room upstairs , i was gonna burst in and give you a bear hug my friend, but then i thought it may cause you a problem with proper protocall and what not!
So sorry again guys

Well, now that I've heard all about the "live" part, I want to know about the kicking!

I swear I'll make it to one of these someday sounds like a lot of fun. I've never been to a Games Day or anything of the sort, but I did drop in on Warhammer World when I was last in the UK. That was a serious head-trip for someone who grew up in a place where there were only a few dozen Warhammer players.

It was great to meet you at BL Live Dan, I really dig the facial hair and google 'Karl Middleton' if you get the time and you'll see what I'm getting at.
Cheers for the book scribble and brief chat ;-)
