Living Forever

If you want something to stir you on this rainy Bank Holiday Sunday, and you're a long time reader of the Ghost books, you could do a lot worse than this rather wonderful, bittersweet compilation, though the words spoiler and warning definitely apply to anyone who is not up to date with the books. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Everyone else, hankies at the ready. Some great art here too, BTW.

Zing....

A little bit weepy :P
very good pencil work.

Any chance you can tell us what the next few books you are doing?
It would be great to see Eisenhorn and Friends out in 2011-2012.

I want an answer to a question concerning you, Mr. Abnett. Some people i know from a few Games Days UK ive been to, have said that you are no longer able to produce quality work!
They say, that after working on the Horus Heresy books and authoring Titanicus, you have(these are their words, not mine) already done everything in your power to make great 40k products!
Mr.Abnett, i NEED your opinion to prove my gaming pals that they are wrong about you.

I like to listen to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQJoKXhx-HM&feature=related and imagine marching Ghosts with Milo playing on pipes.

I never thought about this but Bragg really reminds me of Clint Walker's character Posey from The Dirty Dozen. Did you get any inspiration from that character Dan? Cause it seems like a perfect fit.

Roni - Well, I'm currently reading Dan's first draft of "Prospero Burns", and I can only say that, as far as I'm concerned, he continues to go from strength to strength!

I'm glad they remembered Col. Wilder and Commissar Novobazky.

Agree, that is some of the best art, coupled with the music it captures some of the best of what the Ghost series brings to mind. Its interesting that so many unique and colorful characters have died and that has not in the least made them seem disposable or made the stories any less interesting in all these years. Funny that Lijah Cuu appears there...the bastard. :)

Cant Can't die!

But that's a really powerful track. I've come across it on my youtube travels a few times before...

*SPOILER UPCOMING*

It always takes me back to the Fortress of Jago, but in particular that moment when Larkin sits in silence with Bragg and he leaves the bottle of 'Bragg's finest.'
